Steve’s HIV positive, angry, foul-mouthed, and pessimistic
wheelchair-bound best friend.
Chuck was raised far before anyone can remember. His being wheelchair-bound is only
loosely connected to his HIV status: on the day he first tested positive, he was run over
by a car in the parking lot while leaving the AIDS clinic. He has since been paralyzed
from the left testicle down. Chuck has been, seen, and done ablsolutely everything-- and
he probably did you, back when you were better looking.
Chuck and Steve volunteer together and their friendship grew from his violent
crush on Steve, but he’d never admit to it. Chuck shows his love through ridicule and
torment, but at the root every one of his harsh statements is truth: fat, balding,
pock-marked truth.
Chuck's ideal weekend would be spent on a planet where every being's sole
purpose was to cause him pleasure.
